The standard 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine pairs with a TorqueFlite 8HP75 eight-speed automatic that optimizes the performance and fuel economy of the 2019 Ram 3500. This combination produces a class-leading 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque on the road. The 2019 Ram 3500 lineup features two Cummins diesel engines that produce milestone performance.
The Cummins 6.7-liter I-6, high output Turbo Diesel delivers 400 horsepower at 2,800 rpm and up to 1,000 pound-feet of torque at 1,800 rpm. This engine pairs with the Aisin AS69RC electronically controlled six-speed automatic transmission, which delivers faster and more precise shifts with the help of its new transmission controller that features double the memory of the previous technology. The standard output Cummins 6.7-liter Turbo Diesel engine is paired with an upgraded 68RFE six-speed transmission.
The new rotary e-shift dial, conveniently located on the instrument panel to the left of the center stack, replaces the traditional shift lever in the 2019 Ram 3500. This addition creates more space in the instrument panel’s center stack, giving more room for the available 12-inch Uconnect 4C Nav system. In addition to the center-stack infotainment center, drivers can opt for an available 7-inch, full-color driver information display that shows 3D-animations of important vehicle information.
